001. Newest Member

Okay, maybe not newest member but close to it I think. Anyways, well start off out SL journey looking something like this....

It's the one of the looks that you can choose from, yes i know that all of you know that, I choose a female vampire simply because I love them well reading about them not wanting to be one of them. When I join had no intention on staying looked a newbie and not that this look was that ba.... ok it is a bad look compared to A LOT of people in SL who have been part of it for years so they know the ropes and best places to go. Newbies like I had no idea where to start and depended on the kindness of strangers to help us though where a few who sent me to the wrong place that turned out to be a xxx place and let me tell you saw some things that i'm not sure I want to see again. lol.

Now about a week after joining I looked like this a lot better from the above thanks to some people pointing me on the right direction and hunts that were going on. Did you know that you can get some pretty nice stuff in hunts? who knew right. Anywho, the hair is free from Truth Hair and the sweater & leggings were on a MM board at Sakide. Changed the starter up shape to something I liked didn't even bother buying a shape when you can modify it for free. Again it's not the look wasn't the best out there but it was getting better.

Finally caved in and used my credit card for some L's it was killing me not able to get the things I really wanted. Just going to trying not to make a habit of using the card. For right now this is the final look for a skin I REALLY loved it after trying lots and lots of demos as well as hair. Settles on Magika hair and LAQ Skin. Just being 3 weeks old (22 days today) don't think I did a bad job, do you? It really is amazing how much so little can do to make your avatar look so different but can't wait to find out all the other ways that can be done too. It's going to be a long and fun journey just hope I get to make some friends along the way it gets lonely being by yourself not that I don't already adore then one I do have but would like more of them.
